A full day of scheduled sessions hosted by various family members. Scroll down or click here to read more details about the sessions. Family members could join and leave any time, but most stayed glued to their screens!

Sunday, August 8th

Remembrance Ceremony

As we usually do at the Reunion Banquet, we honored loved ones who have passed since the last Reunion.

Business Meeting

We discussed the Virtual Reunion experience, and some of the plans and ideas Rachel had for the future of the Reunion (incorporating technology, staying connected, fundraising, etc.).

Family History Sharing

Hendricks Sherard Davis hosted and shared anecdotes from our family history, much of which was collected by his mother Josephine Sherard Davis. Then we opened it up for stories from everyone!

Sending

MugHugs

Since we couldn’t give real hugs, we wanted some physical way to commemorate the 2020 Virtual Reunion and spread the Sherard love.

So we called them MugHugs and sold them for $15 each, with a fun custom printed design.

We packed each one with 3 packs of Oreo and Chips Ahoy cookies, wrapped it up with a curly green ribbon, and mailed it out to each lucky family member.
